Lacrosse has been a huge part of my life for over 20 years. When choosing a college back around 94, playing lacrosse was a major factor in my decision. I am very thankful that I made the decision to attend Salisbury University and play lacrosse for the defending Division III National Champions. My team at Salisbury became like family. We were a team in every sense of the word. We lived together, hung out together, and won a National Championship together. Playing for a national championship in front of 18,000 people, on national television was a once in lifetime experience that I will cherish forever. I was a four year letterman, two year starter and member of the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All Conference Team.
My four years of playing for a highly competitive college team we're probably the single most influential force in defining my work ethic, team focus, and competitiveness. I continue to play in competitive post-collegiate men's leagues. Despite the constant bumps, bruises, and occasional more serious injuries, I continue to play pretty much because lacrosse is the only thing that keeps me in decent shape. The post game beers with friends are also a plus.
